Julia Litvinenko
Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Piano Art at the Moscow State Institute of Music named after A.G. Schnittke, laureate of international and Russian competitions.
She has the academic title of associate professor in the specialty “Musical Art”.
Born in the city of Maisky, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
In 1999 she graduated from the Mineralovodsk Music College named after V.I. Safonov (class of Valkovskaya A.K.).
Graduated from the Saratov State Conservatory named after L.V. Sobinov (2004) and a creative assistantship-internship (2007) in the class of National Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor L.I. Shugoma.
In 2010, she defended her candidate’s thesis “Pedagogical aspects of preparing a musician for a public performance” (supervisor – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor G.M. Tsypin).
Since 2006 she has been working at the Moscow State Institute of Music named after A.G. Schnittke. Students of Julia Litvinenko take part in concerts and festivals, as well as laureates and diploma winners of international and Russian competitions.
She is actively performing as a soloist, accompanist and ensemble player. Together with Maria Sadritdinova she performs as part of a piano duet, which is a laureate of Russian and international competitions:
Russian open competition of piano duets “Ensemble” named after. A.G. Bakhchieva (Vologda),
Ural international competition of piano duets “Dialogues at the Piano” (Ekaterinburg),
International Rudolf Kehrer Piano Competition (Moscow),
International competition “Art-Duo” (Prague, Barcelona),
International festival-competition “Musica-Classica” (Ruza).
In 2022, the piano duet of Julia Litvinenko and Maria Sadritdinova won the Grand Prix of the I International Competition of Pianists and Piano Ensembles “The Path to Mastery” (Astana, Kazakhstan).
The piano duo annually takes part in such creative projects as the “Evening of Piano Duets” (Saratov), the International Forum of Spanish Art “Musica Iberica” (Moscow), since 2022 the duo is a member of the Russian Musical Union and is a member of the Guild of Academic Performance.
Sphere of scientific interests of Julia
Litvinenko is closely associated with creative activities in the field of performance and pedagogy. She has more than 30 publications in scientific journals and makes presentations at scientific and practical conferences addressing the problems of modern music education. She is a member of the editorial boards of several printed publications: “Topical Issues of Piano Pedagogy” (Moscow, A.G. Schnittke MGIM, 2017); “Methodological recommendations for piano courses for students of various specialties” (Moscow, A.G. Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Fine Arts, 2019); “Lev Shugom in the memories of students” (Saratov, SGC named after L.V. Sobinov, 2019).
She takes part in the work of the jury of various music competitions.
